Applicant Appeal Process

Unclassified Applicant Appeal Process

The Human Resources Talent Acquisition (TA) division is committed to maintaining fairness and transparency in our hiring practices. We believe in providing equal opportunities to all applicants and ensuring that every candidate is evaluated based on their qualifications and merit.

Appeal Process for Minimum Qualifications

If an applicant feels that they have been unjustly disqualified based on minimum qualifications for an unclassified job opportunity, they have the right to appeal the decision. However, it is essential to follow the outlined appeal procedures and adhere to the specified timelines.

Key Points to Note:

  • Appeals must be submitted within 5 business days after receiving the initial rejection notice.
  • Late appeals will not be accepted.
  • All appeal-related documents should be retained by the applicant for their records.
  • Appeals based on the failure of any background screening process will be automatically denied.

Steps to File an Appeal

Step 1: Submit the Appeal Application Form

Complete the Appeal Application Form within 5 business days of receiving the rejection notice. All fields in the form must be filled out; incomplete forms will result in the appeal being rejected.

Step 2: Submit the Appeal Form

Email the form and any supporting documents via email to the Talent Acquisition team at [email protected] for processing.

Step 3: Confirmation of Receipt

The TA Specialist assigned to the case will confirm receipt via email.

Step 4: Review and Investigation

The TA Specialist will review the appeal alongside the TA Officer and submit a comprehensive report to HR Executive Management for final determination.

Step 5: Final Determination

The appellant will receive an email with the final decision within 10 business days.
